READY SET GO

Nachdem der letzte Travel Post doch einige Zeit zurückliegt, starten wir nun wieder mit einer kleinen Reihe. Endlich! Zumindest sehe ich das so, denn das bedeutet Urlaub! Ich hoffe, ihr seht es aber genauso und könnt mit mir schwärmen.

After the last Travel Post lies some time back, we start again with a small row. Finally! At least that's how I see it, because that means vacation! I hope you see it the same way and can dream with me.

Okay, los geht's. Lange wurde bei der Reiseplanung schon überlegt. 

Wo wollen wir hin? 

Was ist möglich? 

Was sagt das Budget? 

Klar, auf die erste Frage gibt es bestimmt 100 Antworten. Die zweite grenzt die Auswahl dann doch schon eher ein und die dritte sowieso. Wir haben uns dann für eine nicht so weit entfernte Destination entschieden, da eventuell noch einige Dinge dieses Jahr anstehen, die unser Budget weiter in Anspruch nehmen. Und mal unter uns, man muss nicht immer gleich den Kontinent verlassen, in Europa gibt es mindestens genauso schöne Fleckchen wie in der Karibik. 

Okay, here we go. For a long time the travel planning was already considered.

Where do we want to go?
What is possible?
What does the budget say?  

Sure, there are probably 100 answers to the first question. The second one narrows down the selection and the third one anyway. We then decided on a destination which is not so far away, as there may still be some things to do this year which will continue to take up our budget. And among us, you don't always have to leave the continent, there are at least as beautiful spots in Europe as in the Caribbean.

In Anlehnung an unsere Reise im letzten Sommer (die Posts dazu findet ihr hier), haben wir uns dann entschlossen wieder einen kleinen Roadtrip zu machen, denn wir möchten nicht nur einen Ort sehen. Klein deshalb, weil es letztes Jahr auch schon mit viel Anstrengung zusammenhing und unser Ziel doch eine weitere Anfahrt hat als Pula, Kroatien.

Following our trip last summer (you can find the posts here), we decided to do a little roadtrip again, because we don't want to see just one place. Small because last year the trip was already very exhausting and our destination has a longer journey than Pula, Croatia.

So, lüften wir doch mal das Geheimnis.

Trommelwirbel, bitte.

So, let's reveal the secret.
Drumroll, please.

Es geht nach Portugal. Los geht es in Frankfurt, von da bringt uns das Flugzeug hoffentlich nach Faro im Süden. Und da startet der Roadtrip an der Südküste entlang nach Lissabon. Es ist nicht mein erstes Mal in Portugal, aber das erste Mal an der Algarve und ich kann es wirklich kaum erwarten. Am meisten freue ich mich wirklich auf die Sandstrände. Die habe ich in Kroatien tatsächlich vermisst und es wird Zeit die Zehen mal wieder im Sand zu vergraben.

It's going to Portugal. We start in Frankfurt, from there the plane hopefully takes us to Faro in the south. And there the roadtrip starts along the south coast to Lisbon. It's not my first time in Portugal, but the first time in the Algarve and I really can't wait. Most of all I am really looking forward to the sandy beaches. I really missed them in Croatia and it's time to grab my toes in the sand again.

So, nun aber genug geredet. Um euch das Vorbereitungschaos zu ersparen, in das ich mich fast geworfen hätte, möchte ich meine Travel Essential Packliste teilen und hoffe, dass diese euch zu Gute kommt.
